The latest film from Raoul Peck (director of I AM NOT YOUR NEGRO).
26
year-old Karl Marx
(August Diehl)
embarks with his wife, Jenny
(Vicky
Krieps),
on the road to exile. In Paris, he meets Friedrich Engels
(Stefan Konarske),
an industrialist's son, who investigated the sordid
birth of the British working-class. Together, between censorship and the
police's repression, riots and political upheavals, they will lead the
labor movement during its development into a modern era.
