Playing as part of our month-long Hayao Miyazaki Celebration!  This screening will be subtitled.

PRINCESS MONONOKE (1997):
A prince becomes involved in the struggle between the gods of a forest and the humans who consume its resources.

Before the film, Eric Little will perform a medley of themes from Miyazaki films on the Beverly Ruth Nelson memorial organ. Little, a musician and theatre artist from Portland, is a great fan of Joe Hisaishi, the composer who has provided the music for all of Miyazaki’s films.
