Wyrd War Presents!

ZOMBIE with Fabio Frizzi

ZOMBIE with Fabio Frizzi
Wyrd War proudly welcomes Italian composer Fabio Frizzi back to the Hollywood Theatre on Saturday September 21 to perform his legendary score for ZOMBIE (1979) live on stage, followed by a full concert of his greatest cinematic (de)compositions!

Experience Lucio Fulci’s ultimate grindhouse gore classic ZOMBIE (1979) like never before! Once a bloody rite of passage for horror movie fans eager to test the boundaries of good taste and restraint, Fulci’s charged and excessively graphic homage to the walking (and swimming!) dead of Haitian voodoo lore endures as a relic from another time and place. After her father’s yacht washes ashore in the New York Harbor, a young woman (Tisa Farrow as Anne Bowles) and a British journalist (Ian McCulloch as Peter West) set sail for the mysterious island of Matul, escorted by two vacationers (Al Cliver and Auretta Gay), where they discover an outbreak of the infectious undead. “The oozing pustulent horror of ZOMBIE makes DAWN OF THE DEAD look like REBECCA OF STONYBROOK FARM!” - Fangoria Magazine

As part of Wyrd War’s ongoing 10 Year Anniversary festivities, Fabio Frizzi will be performing live scores to Fulci’s Italian horror classics THE BEYOND (1981) on Friday September 20 and ZOMBIE (1979) on Saturday September 21.
