BLAST OF SILENCE

BLAST OF SILENCE

For our December Cinema Classics screening, we’re proud to present BLAST OF SILENCE!  The screening on December 7th is free for Hollywood Theatre Members!

BLAST OF SILENCE (1961) Brutal and black-hearted, Allen Baron’s masterful and underseen New York City noir, BLAST OF SILENCE, represents a transition from studio noir to independently produced neo-noir.  This carefully crafted portrait of a hitman on assignment in Manhattan during Christmas Time was written and directed by Allen Baron, who also stars.  Baron plays Frank Bono whose mission takes a detour when an old flame and a seedy arms dealer get in his way.
