The extended cut of Tetsuya Nomura’s CGI anime epic at the Hollywood Theatre with a classic RPG popup market!
Set two years after the events of the PS1 classic, FINAL FANTASY VII, ADVENT CHILDREN follows Cloud Strife during yet another cataclysmic global event. A plague called Geostigmata has returned and ravages the world. Clones of Cloud’s sworn enemy, Sephiroth, seem to be behind the outbreak and hunt Cloud as they search for Sephiroth’s mother Jenova. To save the Earth, Cloud must enlist the help of his old friends as well as a group of Geostigmata infected orphans.
Initially released in 2005, Tetsuya Nomura (KINGDOM HEARTS) returned to this project to restore the film in 4k. This version of the film has an additional 26 minutes of cut content, dubbing it the “COMPLETE” version. This extended and restored cut is the FINAL FANTASY VII movie we always wanted!
This screening will be preceded by a Retro RPG market, with RPG videogames for sale across multiple classic consoles.
