Jawbreaker
Isn't She Great celebrates women in comedy and 25 years of JAWBREAKER (1999)! Co-hosted by Elizabeth Teets and Anthony Hudson, this special edition opens with stand up by Portland's own Julia Corral.

Queer filmmaker Darren Stein's JAWBREAKER follows popular girls Courtney (Rose McGowan), Julie (Rebecca Gayheart), and Marcie (Julie Benz) after they accidentally kill their best friend Liz on her birthday. After covering up their crime, the clique unwittingly makes a monster by turning reject Fern Mayo (Judy Greer) into Liz’s replacement, and detective Vera Cruz (Pam Grier) turns their school upside down in pursuit of the truth. Co-starring Carol Kane, PJ Soles, and with musical performances by The Donnas, JAWBREAKER is a spiritual cousin to HEATHERS, THE CRAFT, and MEAN GIRLS, offering a hilariously twisted take on teen comedies.
