The Evolution of Horror Anthology TV

The Evolution of Horror Anthology TV

Monsters, magic, ghosts and grubs, that’s just the start of this whirlwind journey through the scarier side of your TV set. Join us for an exploration into the unique and chilling world of horror anthology television. Spanning nearly five decades of content, each class will feature three episodes from an iconic series of this mind-bending genre. Participants will learn about the history, creators, themes, and cultural impact of these short-form narratives. The stories may be brief but they might just end up haunting you for quite some time.
TV Anthologies:
9/5: Night Gallery (1970)
9/12: Tales from the Crypt (1989)
9/19: Are You Afraid of the Dark? (1992)

This class will be taught by MMU lead instructor Kia Anne Geraths, a filmmaker and educator. Her previous classes include the Cult Horror series, Intro to Varda, Science Fiction B-movies, and more.

Class size will be limited to 18.
