In celebration of the Hollywood Theatre’s 100th birthday, we’re proud to
welcome the iconic stuntwoman-turned-actress, Zoë Bell, for a screening
of Quentin Tarantino’s Death Proof, followed by a Q&A!
Zoë
will also be signing autographs and taking photos for a fee before the
movie. No photos or video will be permitted during the event or Q&A.
A
psychopathic stuntman (Kurt Russell) enjoys hunting down groups of women
to kill with his “death proof” car. However, the tables eventually turn
on him when he messes with the wrong gang of gals (including real life
stuntwoman Zoë Bell), who take over his game and decide to hunt him down
instead.
Quentin Tarantino’s ode to 1970s B-movies, Death Proof
is a wild ride of action, car chases, and badass women seeking revenge.
Originally released as part of the Grindhouse double feature with
Robert Rodriguez’s Planet Terror, we are excited to get to screen the uncut version of Death Proof with all the “missing reels” included.
Special thanks to Dangerous Entertainment.
