Re-Run Theater

1996 – THE YEAR IN VIDEOS!

1996 – THE YEAR IN VIDEOS!
By mid decade, the 90s were wide open with possibilities for musical styles.  Between the final output of the original Seattle scene and the continuing stream of major label post Grunge coupled with everything from Ska to Goth/Industrial to a titanic renaissance in Hip Hop, the airwaves and TV screens exploded with color and imagination.  As directors used ever expanding production budgets to create content from gorgeous to grotesque, psychedelic to silly, MTV maintained its dominance over the hearts and minds of Gen X and young Millennials.
From Lush to Luscious Jackson, Jewel to Jamiroquai,  Spice Girls to Smashing Pumpkins, Beck to Bone Thugs n’ Harmony and so many more:  We’ve packed all we can fit into 2+ hours of music video mayhem.
Format: Digital
