Film Diary NYC presents: Imprecise Words
IMPRECISE WORDS features a selection of 9 new experimental films by artists working in personal, autobiographical modes to push the boundaries of diary filmmaking. Originally programmed for Studio DB in Berlin, but removed due to the Strike Germany boycott, Film Diary NYC is honored to present this program for the first time at the Portland Diary Summit, in conversation with personal cinema by Pacific Northwest artists, and Basma Alsharif’s Home Movies Gaza. Saint Piñero and Sage Ó Tuama, founders and curators of Film Diary NYC, a New York City-based group that programs experimental non-fiction films, will be present at the screening to discuss the films.
