As the wild child of a single mother growing up in the burnt-out Lower East Side of Manhattan, Harley Flanagan’s life was shaped by extreme adverse childhood experiences from the very start. Bursting onto the punk scene at the age of 11 as the drummer of The Stimulators, he would soon harden himself for survival and establish the CRO-MAGS, a band that would go on to exemplify the street philosophy and skinhead aesthetics of the formidable New York Hardcore movement.
