Movie Madness Presents launches their Demented Kids miniseries with Brazilian children’s oddity SUPER XUXA VS SATAN (1988)! This screening is free for Movie Madness and Hollywood Theatre members. In her quest for peace and happiness, the motorcycle riding, singing rainbow diva Xuxa calls upon the children of Brazil to paint rainbows all over Rio. This rouses the anger of the evil, tongue-twitching sewer spirit Baixo Astral, whose mission is to bring the “down mood” to the world—threatened by Xuxa’s efforts to bring joy to the world, he declares war on the hot-pants-wearing heroine and devises a plan for his inept henchmen to kidnap her puppet dog and torture it. Helped along the way by a gypsy caterpillar and a rebellious teenager, Xuxa goes on a quest to rescue her dog and save the world from Baixo Astral.
