Floating World Comics has moved to the Lloyd Centre, one Max stop from the Hollywood!
To celebrate, the shop will be hosting a special screening of VHS classic Timecop, starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, Mia Sara, Bruce McGill and… a scenery-chewing Ron Silver!
Floating World will be on site to recommend a bunch of cool comic books, including a whole bunch of sci-fi graphic novels they’ll have on their fancy table outside the screen.
They’ll also have an exclusive event poster available for purchase, handcrafted by local cartoonist Alex Delaney (Vengeance is for the Living), who’ll have his own books for sale.
So. brace yourself for Van Damme’s biggest hit, prepare yourself to witness the distant future of… 2004, and really stretch out your legs just in case you feel like doing the splits on the way home. It’s Timecop, presented by Floating World, set your alarm so you don’t miss it!
