The Hollywood Theatre is located at 4122 NE Sandy Blvd, Portland, Oregon 97212 on Multnomah, Clackamas, Oregon City Tumwater, Chinookan, and Kalapuya land.
TICKETS:Â Tickets can be purchased online or at the Hollywood Theatre Box Office, which opens 30 minutes prior to the first showing of the day/evening. Tickets for most films are $12 for adults, $10 for students/seniors (65+)/children, and $9 for members. Special events may have different pricing; please check online event descriptions for the most accurate info.Â
PARKING:Â In addition to street parking around the theatre, Hollywood patrons can park in the Broadway Medical Clinic lot (4212 NE Broadway) after 5pm on weeknights and after noon on weekends.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: The easiest way to get to the Hollywood Theatre is by public transit. We are just 2 blocks from the Hollywood Transit Center, which is serviced by the Red, Green, and Blue Max Lines and Bus Lines #66, #75, #77. Additionally, Bus Line #12 drops you off a few steps from our front door!
CONCESSIONS:Â We have a wide variety of beverages (including beer and wine), Sizzle Pie pizza, popsicles, and of course, our acclaimed popcorn. Voted the best in Portland!
- Pizza ($4.25-5.00): Portland's own Sizzle Pie is available by the slice from the theater's "Pie Hole," including vegetarian and vegan slices. No more scrambling to get dinner before heading to the movies- slices are cheap, served piping hot, and pair oh-so-well with craft beer or soda.
- Wine ($7): Underwood Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Rosé .
- Draft Beer and Cider ($6): 8 taps with rotating selections from Double Mountain and other Oregon craft breweries. 16oz. cans of Montucky Cold Snack available for $4.
ASSISTIVE LISTENING/OPEN CAPTIONING/CLOSED CAPTIONING: Headphones for audio enhancement are available on all films. We also offer closed captioning and audio description whenever possible. Some films have open captions and will be noted as such. The availability of these services varies from film to film; call 503-281-1142 or email info@hollywoodtheatre.org for inquiries about specific films, or consult the online event description. Headphones and closed captioning devices are available upon request from our box office.
ADA ACCESSIBILITY:Â As a historical building, the Hollywood Theatre is limited in its ability to meet ADA requirements, though we remain committed to servicing patrons with mobility issues whenever possible. While our ground-level auditorium is wheelchair-accessible, our two upstairs auditoriums are not. Please feel free to contact us at 503-281-1142 regarding the placement of films on any given day. In most instances, and with adequate notice, we can modify film scheduling to accommodate access.
Our restrooms are currently not wheelchair-accessible, but Hollywood Theatre patrons are welcome to use the ADA-compliant restrooms at Sizzle Pie, located in the same building as the theatre.
SEAT SPECS: Our armrests are not fixed, except the ones on the aisle, so the seats can be as wide as need be. Seat cushions themselves are 20" wide x 19" deep. Gaps between rows are about 16" from the end of the seat cushion to the back of the seat immediately in front.
