Many cool things are happening at the Hollywood Theatre. Beyond reviving this historic movie house, we’re expanding the idea of what a theatre can be.
Week by week, you’ll find cult classics, independent films, offbeat festivals, local features, live music and more. Everything from audience-participation events such as “Hecklevision” (please turn ON your cell phones) and “B-Movie Bingo” (just like it sounds!) to live stand-up comedy. There are other new ideas behind the curtain, still to come!
The Theatre has also developed many programs and services for artists and students. We offer educational initiatives that serve over 500 young people annually and a fiscal sponsorship program that supports more than 20 Oregon-based, independent film projects.
