This was when the fledgling cable network MTV exploded. Major labels began pouring money into the production values of their artists. It became established that a performer’s look was just as important as their sound. Outrageous fashion and elaborate dance choreography fused with high concept and cinematic direction to create one unforgettable classic after another.
We will be playing the very best variety of music videos from 1983 (including videos which were still in heavy rotation) that we can contain into two hours including: The Cure, Eurythmics, Madonna, Michael Jackson, David Bowie, Joan Jett, Pat Benatar, Lionel Richie, Prince, Depeche Mode, Missing Persons, Talking Heads, U2 and many more!
