Fight Club With Chuck Palahniuk
Bridge City Comics is proud to present FIGHT CLUB with Chuck Palahniuk in attendance, celebrating the release of the graphic novel Fight Club II. A screening of the 1999 film, preceded by a Q&A session with Chuck, moderated by New York Times best-selling author Chelsea Cain.
Copies of the newly-released Fight Club II hard cover ($30) will be available in the lobby before and after the screening. There will be no autographing at this event. All copies come already autographed by Chuck.
FIGHT CLUB (1999) A ticking-time-bomb insomniac and a slippery soap salesman channel primal male aggression into a shocking new form of therapy. Their concept catches on, with underground “fight clubs” forming in every town, until an eccentric gets in the way and ignites an out-of-control spiral toward oblivion.
About the Fight Club II graphic novel: Ten years after starting Project Mayhem, he lives a mundane life. A kid, a wife. Pills to keep his destiny at bay. But it won’t last long—the wife has seen to that. He’s back where he started, but this go-round he’s got more at stake than his own life. The time has arrived . .
