SHADOW OF A DOUBT: A Hitchcock classic! Charlotte “Charlie” Newton (Teresa Wright) is bored with her quiet life at home and wishes something exciting would happen. When her suave, cosmopolitan Uncle Charlie (Joseph Cotten) comes to visit, it seems just the ticket. But soon young Charlie notices odd behavior on the part of her uncle, including cutting out a story in the local paper about a man who marries and murders rich widows. When two strangers appear asking questions about him, she begins to imagine the worst about her dear Uncle Charlie.
