International Spectacular #2

Series: Northwest Animation Festival

NW Animation Fest's parade of astonishing short films continues on Saturday night with a second anthology of this year's very best work. Selected from over 1500 submissions, the evening includes remarkable stories from Argentina, Russia, France, Turkey, Singapore, Norway, and more. Watch as national boundaries fall away and the reign of unfettered imagination begins.

Here's some of what you'll see: A wild tiger is accidentally set loose aboard a space station occupied by an astronaut and his pet goldfish. Two young Aztec women are about to be sacrificed to their gods; however, one is far less accepting of her fate. A group of friends discover a bizarre washing machine that causes them to swap heads, and are then forced to live each other's lives while searching for a way to put things right again. A competitive swimmer confronts the ghost of the recently deceased teammate whom she's replaced. A gregarious grizzly bear touristing in the arctic strikes up conversation with a starving polar bear... Will he become a new friend — or her lunch?

Some mature themes.
