Les Blank Celebration: I Went To The Dance

CELEBRATE DIRECTOR LES BLANK'S 88th BIRTHDAY with a newly remastered version of his Cajun/Zydeco music documentary featuring a Q&A with his filmmaker son HARROD BLANK!

Join us for our annual celebration of legendary documentary director LES BLANK with a screening of JAI ETE AU BAL (I Went To the Dance), a toe-tapping, foot-stomping music extravaganza focused on the musicians and culture of French Southwest Louisiana. This entertaining documentary includes many Cajun and Zydeco music greats, featuring Michael Doucet and BeauSoleil, Clifton Chenier, Marc and Ann Savoy, D.L. Menard, and many others.

As always, we'll have a big pot of jambalaya and a side of cornbread to celebrate!
