Community Acupuncture: The Calmest Revolution Ever Staged | Filmed & Directed by Brian Lindstrom
This is the story of how a small group of loud-mouthed, over-educated, under-employed activists and a massive group of ordinary people with average incomes revolutionized healthcare systems by using large empty rooms, old recliner chairs, and two-cent needles.

Compassion Connects | Filmed by Tristan Stoch
Against tremendous obstacles of poverty, in regions where the struggle to survive often usurp basic medical needs, five volunteer acupuncturists, set up a health clinic in Nepal. Through the practice of healing, a connection between patient and volunteer emerges transcending the physical and leading both parties into a relationship of human connection and compassion that creates long-lasting effects within their communities.

Kam Wah Chung | Written and Produced by Beth Harrington
The discovery of gold brought thousands of Chinese to eastern Oregon in the late 1880s – including herbal doctor Ing Hay and businessman Lung On. These two men practiced medicine and operated a general store at Kam Wah Chung & Co. in John Day for more than sixty years. You’ll meet people from the region who remember the two men, explore the history of the Chinese who helped build the West and visit Kam Wah Chung – The Golden Flower of Prosperity. Today the recently restored building is an Oregon treasure – and a National Historic Landmark filled with thousands of herbs, artifacts and the memories of two men who called it home. Program provided courtesy of Oregon Public Broadcasting and the Oregon Historical Society. Funding for Oregon Experience is provided by the James F. & Marion L. Miller Foundation, the Ann & Bill Swindells Charitable Trust, and the Oregon Cultural Trust.

Presented by The Oregon Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (OAAOM), Oregon’s largest medical association for licensed acupuncturists.
