Scream 2

Series: Queer Horror

The Hollywood Theatre's bimonthly program Queer Horror goes back to campus with SCREAM 2! This 25th anniversary screening is hosted by Portland's premier drag clown Carla Rossi and opens with a meta slasher preshow starring Portland drag all-stars and sponsored by Double Mountain Brewery.

Written by out queer screenwriter Kevin Williamson and directed by Wes Craven, SCREAM 2 (1997) finds Sid Prescott (Neve Campbell) on the college quad when a bloody bout of copycat murders starts up thanks to a new horror film called STAB. Co-starring Courtney Cox, David Arquette, Jada Pinkett, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Heather Graham, Tori Spelling, Portia De Rossi, Rebecca Gayheart, and Laurie Metcalf as Debbie Salt, SCREAM 2 is one of the best and most fun slasher sequels of the 20th century—and the only one featuring Aunt Jackie.

NOTE: out of concern for live performers, masks will be required in the auditorium (except when actively eating and drinking) during this event.
