Kirk (William Shatner) and the crew of the USS Enterprise are charged with escorting the Klingon Chancellor Gorkon (David Warner) to peace negotiations with the United Federation of Planets. When the seemingly peaceful escort goes awry, Kirk and ship’s doctor Leonard McCoy (DeForest Kelley) find themselves arrested for murder, leaving it up to Spock (Leonard Nimoy) to find the true culprits, as Kirk and McCoy face the Klingon justice system…
