Enjoy the Stumptown Stars in concert as they honor bandmate and recording artist Nolan Bronson who has enlisted in the Navy and will be leaving early in 2012 to report to Naval Training Station Great Lakes. All members live in Portland. They have toured Europe and present a fast-paced family Americana show of folk, bluegrass, cowboy and blues. The band includes two national champions: Andy Emert, National Fiddling Champion and Larry Wilder, National Yodeling Champion.
The opening act will be an all female bluegrass band of Claire Levine, Patty Spencer, Amy Hakanson, Christine Weinmeister and Genavie Thomas.
