Jessica Harper stars as Suzy Bannion, a young American ballet student who arrives at a prestigious dance school in the remote countryside of Germany during a rainstorm, where she encounters a fellow student fleeing in terror. Suzy soon begins to realize that not all is as it seems at Tanz Dance Akademie. As bodies begin to pile up in the most magnificently orchestrated murder scenes ever committed to film, she discovers that the school may be concealing a sinister coven of witches.
