Many consider THE LAST STARFIGHTER to be the greatest of the STAR WARS rip-offs, a rough compliment but we’ll take it. With director Nick Castle (Michael Myers of HALLOWEEN), a musical score featuring an 85-piece orchestra, and CGI innovations that laid the groundwork for all sci-fi to come, you could say this movie is way more than your classic fish out of water and into space kind of story.
