• Short Film Block 4, filmmaker Q&A
• Feature Film: REBORN
• Feature Film: NIGHTMARE CINEMA, Q&A w/Mick Garris

This evening’s program serves up a selection of short films from around the world, featuring everything from occult machinations, monsters, and malevolent ghosts. Films are different each night. Be sure to get a full festival pass if you want to see everything!

REBORN stars Barbara Crampton, Kayleigh Gilbert, Michael Paré, Rae Dawn Chong. A stillborn baby girl is brought back to life by a morgue attendant using electrokinetic power. On her sixteenth birthday, she escapes her captor and sets out to find her birth mother, leaving a trail of destruction behind her.

NIGHTMARE CINEMA: Five tales of terror directed by Joe Dante, Mick Garris, David Slade, Alejandro Brugués, Ryûhei Kitamura and starring Mickey Rourke, Annabeth Gish, Richard Chamberlain. In this twisted horror anthology, five strangers are drawn to an abandoned theater and forced to watch their deepest and darkest fears play out before them. Lurking in the shadows is the Projectionist, who preys upon their souls with his collection of disturbing films. As each reel spins its sinister tale, the characters find frightening parallels to their own lives. Be sure to stay for the Q&A with Special Guest MICK GARRIS.

Mick Garris has one of the most impressive writing and directing careers in horror history. He wrote for shows like Amazing Stories, created The Masters of Horror series, and wrote or directed more Stephen King adaptations than any other filmmaker, including THE STAND, SLEEPWALKERS, and RIDING THE BULLET.

Start the evening with a filmmaker meet & greet from 4-6 pm at Sam’s!
