FAQ

Do I need a ticket?

Nope! These events are free and open to everyone, no ticket required.

What about parking?

Free, and park day-use fees are waived on event days after 7:00pm.

How will I find the movie?

Follow the signs! We'll try to make it as obvious as possible where each film will be screened.

Can I bring my kid / dog / miscellaneous pet?

Yes, we welcome well-behaved domestic creatures of all sorts. Park rules say dogs and other pets must be on a leash no longer than 6’.

What about food and drink?

Bring your own! (Yes, alcohol is fine if you're 21+; drink responsibly.)

Are event sites wheelchair accessible?

Some sites are accessible, but are usually in grassy fields, so if it’s been raining, the ground will be soft.

What if it rains, or the state catches on fire again?

Our fingers are crossed for good conditions, but if necessary we will make the decision to cancel by noon on the day of the event. Updates will be posted on the event listings on our website, which can be found here, as well as on the Hollywood's social media channels. If something affects the park as a whole, you’ll find it on the state parks website (go there and look up the park by name).
