The Portland Motorcycle Film Festival showcases motorcycle filmmaking and dedicates all funds raised to the purchase of Air Fence and safety equipment at Portland International Raceway for the Oregon Motorcycle Road Racing Association. The festival will present four feature films and a selection of short films.
Friday:
Short 1: Bonneville Brothers—Italian brothers fulfill their Bonneville dreams.
Short 2: Polarcirkeln—A motorcycle journey to the top of the world.
Short 3: Wheel Talk—Bikes talk about the love of being on two wheels.
Feature 1: A Rally for Rangers—Turning adventure travel into a mission to support natural resources and national parks around the world.
Short 4: Baja & Back—A whirlwind look at three weeks exploring Baja.
Short 5: Why would you do it on that?—A trip around the world on a very unusual choice for an global touring motorcycle.
Feature 2: Dark Rider—A man attempts to set a land speed record while overcoming a unique motorcycling challenge.
Saturday:
Short 1: Bad Dog —An animated tale of a race against the Grim Reaper.
Short 2: Built for Good—A charity bike build.
Short 3: Ray Tauscher: America's Forgotten World Champion Motorcycle Racer
—The story of a Portland native and his forgotten achievements as an international motorcycle champion.
Feature 1: Keep the Bike Moving—12 friends tackle one of the world’s most grueling motorcycle races: the Baja 1000.
Short 4: Cartwright and Howard's Big Scottish One—Discovering the roads of the Scottish Highlands on two wheels.
Short 5: For the Love of Moto—An amateur motocross racer chases the AMA National Amateur Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn's MX.
Short 6: Carom—Hey, is that thing electric?
Feature 2: Speed is Expensive: Philip Vincent and the Million Dollar Motorcycle—Ewan McGregor narrates this story of the man behind one of the most desired and collected motorcycles in the world.
Pre-Party, Saturday, 4:00 PM: Special guests and other surprises. Be a special supporter of the cause, and have the opportunity to speak with the filmmakers attending the festival.
