Dax
Jordan is an L.A. comedian, by way of Portland, OR. The only child of
an original Valley Girl and a Midwestern jazz drummer, Dax has cornered
that unique Beatnik/Mallrat/Trekkie demographic. Raised on the fruits of
the 80’s standup explosion, his early exposure to everything from Stan
Freberg to George Carlin have ingrained in him a wide variety of styles
and perspectives. He’s performed everywhere from the Bridgetown Comedy
Festival, to the Comedy Central Tour with Dave Attell, and a million
stops in between. Get ready to laugh!
“So I Married An Axe
Murderer” is a cult classic! Mike Meyers is Charlie MacKenzie, a
commitment-phobe beat poet who’s sure he’ll never fall in love. Enter
beautiful butcher Harriet Michaels, who quickly changes his mind. The
only problem? Harriet’s ex-husbands are all dead, and Charlie fears he
might be next. The film is a unique blend of romance, comedy, and
intrigue; featuring outstanding cameos from Phil Hartman, Michael
Richards, Mike Hagarty, Debi Mazar, Steven Wright, and Alan Arkin,
appearing uncredited as Tony’s sensitive boss.
